Join the flavour hunt at the Wirtsstuben, our Falstaff-featured restaurant, where our delicious dishes always hit the mark.
If you’re looking for authentic Upper Palatinate cuisine, you’ll find it right here in Parsberg. The Restaurant Wirtsstuben at the Romantik Hotel Hirschen is a culinary gem that is second to none – even Falstaff, the prestigious gourmet food and wine magazine, has long taken notice.
Here, we cook with an abundance of love and care; our dishes are always fresh, local, and refreshingly unpretentious – just the way we like them. We use top-quality ingredients, take our time, and rely on a finely tuned sense of flavour that’s been handed down through generations.
Join us Monday to Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. for a lunchtime journey of discovery.
Our in-house kitchen prepares lovingly crafted dishes ideal for a lunchtime culinary adventure. And come evening, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., you’re in for a real treat. Whether it’s a succulent, perfectly aged steak, delicate chicken in a rich poultry jus, a golden Wiener schnitzel fried in butter and served with our homemade lingonberry preserve, or a whole trout stuffed with herbs and garlic, flavour is always on the menu.
Sundays and public holidays are firmly anchored in our culinary calendar: that’s when – and only when – we serve our legendary roasts, freshly prepared for you and your fellow foodies. From 11:30 a.m., you can look forward to a crispy “Bauernbratl” (juicy pork roast), tender Sunday veal with our incomparable cream sauce, or aromatic roast lamb with lamb jus. Everything is freshly braised and melt-in-the-mouth tender, of course.
And for those with a sweet tooth? We highly recommend our “Zwetschge & Tradition”, a time-honoured Upper Palatinate dessert. Slices of white bread filled with spiced plum jam, soaked in a rich egg custard, and fried until golden – served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it. Bon appétit!
